Third SENERES Workshop - Symposium

With reference to the realization of SENERES project we are organizing the second thematic workshop.

On the 2nd of June 2014 (Monday) in Warsaw there will be organised "The 3rd International Symposium on Solid Oxide Fuel Cells for Next Generation Power Plants: Gasifier - SOFC systems".

It is a third subsequent Syposium organised in the past years in different European countries. This year it is organised by the Institute of Power Engineering (Warsaw, Poland) and TU Delft (Delft, the Netherlands) in frames of EU FP7's SENERES project (Sustainable Energy Research and Development Centre It will be supported by IEA - Advanced Fuel Cells Program.

The Symposium aims at bringing together experts in the field of SOFC systems, materials and renewable energy technologies focussing on gasifier-SOFC systems, both from academia and industry to a common platform to discuss recent developments in SOFC technology all around the world. It offers an excellent opportunity to discuss and understand the success and challenges in this large and developing research area. This one day meeting will be chaired by Dr. P. V. Aravind (TU Delft, The Netherlands), dr T.Golec (IEn, Poland).

Symposium's Program


The thematic content will be accompanied by the Poster Session. Information regarding poster submission can be found here.


Poster participants are also highly encouraged to submit full length manuscripts to one of the two international journals : Frontiers in Energy Research ( and International Journal of Renewable Energy Development ( Manuscripts will be reviewed on a regular basis. Information and guidelines  regarding full length manuscripts can be found on the journal websites.


The REGISTRATION is obligatory. The number of participants is limited to 100.
